Little China Dogs at The Barn
After falling in love and adopting a little dog named Ollie in October 2017, Gabby Gardiner and Chris Sheehan felt a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of other dogs in need. This passion led them to found Little China Dog Rescue, a charity based in Northern Ireland dedicated to rescuing dogs from the meat trade in China. In partnership with The Barn Animal Rescue, they work tirelessly to save and rehome dogs, providing them with the love and care they deserve. Through our collaborative efforts, we are not only transforming the lives of countless dogs but also raising awareness about the importance of animal rescue and the need for compassionate advocacy.

The kindness and support of our community friends are the lifeline that enables us to make a difference. At The BARN, we recognise the significance of networking in ensuring the smooth operation of our rescue. Our ability to connect and collaborate with other community welfare groups, animal welfare organizations, rescues, shelters, and foster caregivers throughout Northern Ireland and Eire is the cornerstone of our existence. Together, through mutual cooperation, we can continue to provide care and protection to animals in need.
