Christmas Lights

We are all looking foward to the Christmas lights. Please stop and say hi to our street collectors and then pop into our charity shop for a drink, mince pie and a few bargains!!

OUR NEWTOWNARDS SHOP WILL BE OPEN FROM 10am-9pm.

Newtownards Christmas Light Switch On – Saturday 26 November, 10am-7pm.

Join us for fantastic seasonal fun in Newtownards this festive season. The Christmas Market returns with lots of great artisan stalls and demonstrations featuring celebrity chef Suzie Lee.

The town will be abuzz with festive entertainment, music, and Santa’s Grotto at The Precinct throughout the day.

Santa and Mayor of Ards and North Down Councillor Karen Douglas will switch on the Christmas tree lights at 5.00pm in Conway Square.

We expect the town to be very busy, please plan your journey ahead of time.

Car Parking: Information on car parking can be found at www.ardsandnorthdown.gov.uk/car-parking

Road closures: Road closures will be in place from 6pm on Friday 25 November until 10pm on Saturday 26 Nov to South Street, High Street and Meeting House Lane.
