Ways to help our animals

There are many ways you can help our animals at The Barn

  • Adopt a cat or dog.
  • Use Paypal to make a one off donation or an automatic monthly one
  • Make a purchase from our Amazon Wish List
  • Payments can also be made by cheque or bank transfer, please PM us for details.
  • Adopt an animal. Click the Application Form link on any of the posts and fill in Rehoming Questionnaire.
  • Donate unwanted goods for our charity shops in Ards and Ballywalter. Please contact our shop manager directly
  • Bring food to the shelter or leave them in one of our collection bins situated at Jolleys Pet Shop Bangor, Tesco Springhill or Pets at Home Bangor.
  • Organise a fundraiser on our behalf. Please contact us before you do this and we will share on our page and help where we can.
  • Donate towels, blankets and cleaning equipment.
  • Support any fundraisers on our page.
  • Pay directly towards our vet bill
  • Ask for one of our collection boxes to go in your workplace.
  • Give up your spare time to volunteer in our shops or at the Rescue centre.

The BARN Animal Rescue is a haven for animals in need. We promote animal welfare within Northern Ireland, we rescue & re-home; we tend and we care. At our rescue based in Carrowdore, County Down; we care for rescued cats and dogs. We also have dogs that have permanent residency and found their forever home here at the BARN.
