At The Barn Animal Rescue, we are excited to introduce you to Dexter, an adorable 8.5 month old Cocker spaniel who is ready to find his forever home! Dexter is fully vet checked, microchipped and vaccinated and he will come with a neutering voucher to ensure he's healthy and prepared for his new adventure. Plus he will come with 5 weeks of free insurance to give you peace of mind as you welcome him into your family.
Why breed experience is essential:
- Understanding their temperament: Cocker spaniels are known for their affectionate nature, but they can also be quite stubborn. Experience owners can better navigate this trait, using patience and consistent training methods to encourage good behaviour.
- Effective training techniques:
Having experience with the breed means knowing which training techniques work best. Cocker spaniels respond well to positive reinforcement, and an experienced owner will know how to motivate them effectively.
- Grooming:
Dexter has a beautiful coat that will require regular grooming.
